Hi everyone, if you are reading this, you’ve found (or have been invited to) my academic blog. I have decided to launch my own blog for the purposes of making explicit my thoughts and ideas as I prepare for my prelims and beyond that, my dissertation. My aims and goals for the launch of this blog, as its title suggests, is to reflect on what I am reading and thinking about and making those thoughts explicit. In a way this blog is a form of commitment to the thinking and writing that I have to do.
More importantly, I am also hopeful that this blog may spur feedback and conversation as well. I am explicitly making this blog open and would welcome comments and feedback from both colleagues and the public alike. Let’s see if this little experiment works out for me. Wish me luck
