You know for me it's all about, "can conversations taking place in the blogosphere add up to something that’s greater than the sum of its parts, and to feed that back to the participants so that everyone gets back more than they’re putting in?" As someone who's long been interested in collaboration, I am interested in studying tools that can support this kind of activity. What's more, can these tools even extend/enhance it? Perhaps f2f is not the gold standard for collaboration but Web 2.0 might be (achieving the promise of "Beyond being there")? It's an empirical question... Nice ponderings, Jude. That's precisely what I was trying to do with this blogpost - unpacking terms that I have been taking for granted.
